These HID bulbs do not have ECE approval, and as such their usage is currently not approved for use on public roads: their usage is limited to ‘off-road’ applications. In addition, their installation may trigger a bulb error message to appear on the vehicle's on-board computer system / dashboard. This is a harmless side-effect and may be removed by installing a canbus adaptor.

Great bulbs
The bulbs light output is fantastic! I had this as a kit before but the bulbs eventually failed. One melted the connector on the ballast and one just popped inside the housing. I ordered the bulbs and forgot the ballast had melted and realised when I went to install them. Ordered a new ballast straight away and when it arrived it didn't work properly. The bulb flashes three times and goes off but the green "ok" led is lit so there's power. I swapped the ballast to the other bulb and that did the same thing so there's a fault with the new ballast I ordered. When removing the faulty ballast, the rear "sealed" cover to the back of the 23000v ignitor fell off so unsure if it was damaged in transit or what? Would be helpful if I could get this faulty ballast replaced because the kit is fantastic otherwise
