In 2021, EBC Yellowstuff underwent an upgrade to eliminate copper from their composition, adhering to environmental legislation. This new formulation lasts longer, but it also means these pads are no longer recommended for track use due to the extended bedding-in process required. On the street, this bedding-in process occurs naturally within the first 100-200 miles of urban driving. However, for track enthusiasts who prefer to arrive with new pads, EBC recommends the Bluestuff formulation for both front and rear track day driving.
