Resonated Race System
So what is the difference between the Milltek exhaust systems?
The physical appearance of the Race system versus the normal cat-back system is exactly the same. Its all about the internal design of the full flow 70mm pipework . The Race version has less silencing than the normal system. The normal systems noise level is all taken care of by some very special full bore trickery within the single rear silencer box. It’s not about restricting flow, it’s about reflecting sound waves internally to create a perfectly tuned rear silencer.
The Race exhaust system removes some of the baffles from the rear silencer, producing a louder and more raw sound experience which has proven to become incredibly popular amongst customers demanding the very best exhaust note from their Fiesta ST.
Systems are available with a choice of different Twin GT80 style tailpipes and in either a resonated (quieter) or non-resonated (louder) option.
